The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, April 18 reveals Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will grill Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).
Also coming up, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will have a chat with Amy Lewis (Victoria Pettiford) regarding Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers). Plus, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will make an admission to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). And Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will warn Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) about Dumas.
Y&R spoilers tease Lily will run into Amy at the coffee shop. They’ll discuss Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Lily will tell her she just had dinner with Damian. “I assume that you spent the meal grilling my son?” Amy will reply.
Lily will say when she was over at Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) place, she didn’t mean to upset her. Amy will say she’s not surprised Lily had questions. “Damian has done some questionable things,” she’ll add. But she also hopes Lily can find it in her heart to give Damian the benefit of the doubt.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Abby Promises Her Father She’ll Let Him Know
At the Jazz Club, Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) phone will ring. She and Nate will look down and see it’s Victor Newman calling. She’ll answer and Victor will tell her he made some inroads with the cosmetics company she’s interested in running.
Audra will ask if they can meet the next day. “Don’t bother coming over unless you’re confident my granddaughter’s relationship with Kyle will come to an end,” he’ll say. Audra will once again tell Victor to consider it done.
At the ranch, Abby will pay Victor a visit. She’ll say she missed him and he’ll ask about her trip to Europe. Talk will turn to Aristotle Dumas and Victor will ask Abby if she hears anything about him in relation to Winters or Chancellor, she let him know. “Absolutely,” she’ll reply.
Meanwhile, Diane will encounter Michael at the GCAC bar. He’ll be happy to see her and he’ll tell her to grab a seat and sit down. “Are you helping Victor go after Jack and Jabot?” Diane will ask bluntly. But Michael will turn the tables and ask what led her to jump to that conclusion.
Diane will say she assumes he’s still angry that Jack saved Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) life. Then she’ll ask Michael how far it’s going to go this time. However, Michael will tell her to stay out of it, or she’ll make matters worse.
However, he’ll say the Jack and Victor rivalry has gone on for decades and he doesn’t like it. “And I’ve made that abundantly clear to him.” Then he’ll ask why Diane would think he’d be working with Victor to get revenge on Jack.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Michael’s Trying To Be The Guardrail
Diane will say he can tell her what Victor is plotting against her family. But Michael will insist he’s not Victor’s hatchet man. “His desire for revenge is all on him.” He’ll say he can’t discuss it with her further and wants to drop the subject.
She’ll ask why Michael has such an allegiance to Victor. He’ll say he’s doing everything he can to be the guardrail. “This is an impossible place!” he’ll admit. But Diane will remind Michael he put himself there. “I bet you have done a lot more over the years for him than he’s ever done for you!” she’ll shout.
Upstairs in his suite, Jack will learn that Kyle told Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) all about Victor having a spy at Jabot. Jack will not be happy. “I had to tell Claire the truth, I trust her and so should you,” Kyle will add.
Finally, Diane will walk in and tell Kyle she’s proud of him. After Kyle leaves, Diane will say they might have someone on the inside looking out for them. So, she’ll tell him about her conversation with Michael. Jack will be concerned she may have given something away but she’ll say she was vague. “He said he was acting as a guardrail, keeping Victor from going too far.”
But Michael will show up at the ranch and tell Victor he just ran into Diane, who made accusations. “It’s clear the Abbotts are suspicious,” he’ll tell him. “The Abbotts are expecting a strike, they’re on high alert.” Victor will say he doesn’t care. Michael will try to talk him out of his vendetta but Victor will stand firm. “I don’t cave! Ever!” he’ll tell him.
